Charlotte, NC – Kyle Strickler did the impossible and swept the inaugural series of the NDRA Modz presented by Roush Yates Performance parts. Strickler came from his 12th place starting spot to win the 20-lap rain shortened event. Weather caused the original race to be postponed until November 3rd. It began to rain during the WOO Late Models qualifying which caused series officials to pull the cars off the racetrack. After the rain ceased, the NDRA Modz were the first cars to hit the track. The track was still slick but Strickler was able to slide from 12th to 4th in three laps. Due to the rainout, the NDRA Modz were forced to move their season finale race to the first night of the World Finals. Last months rainout, the drivers of the NDRA Modz had their shot to showcase their talents on the big stage on The Dirt Track at Charlotte. Now the stage will be even larger with all of the teams from the World Racing Group major series in attendance. Tickets are still avaliable for Thursday’s show. GASTONIA, NC (July 29) – Kyle Strickler continued his domination of the new NDRA Modz Road Show as he captured his third victory in as many starts at Carolina Speedway on Friday night July 29th. The Pennsylvania native brought the 19 car field to the green flag and grabbed the lead over Sherrill’s Ford, NC’s Troy Loomis. Young Derrick Ramey made quick work of Loomis as he moved into second with Loomis third. Elkin, NC (June 18th) – Kyle Strickler made it back-to-back wins by taking the checkers and the $1000 check for the 2nd NDRA Modz ‘Road Show’ event presented by Roush Yates Performance Parts at Friendship Speedway. Ryan Ayers and Rob McLaughan lead the starting field to the green flag for the 20-lap feature event.
